What other non revenue related items have been snuck into this bill? Does their presence mean that the bill will actually require 60 votes in the senate to end debate and proceed to a vote on adoption?

Thank you so much for addressing this issue in such detail. I continue to value your newsletters above all others. I had heard that there were other items buried in the bill which would give Trump more power — such as cancelling elections. Do you know of any?

I wonder if the reason that the Republicans are doing this in “one beautiful bill” is so they can bury items such as these so that not even those voting on it can possibly read and absorb every item.

Thank you for writing this excellent article. It's something that came to my attention last week and I love how you break down the implications of it as written. How would we know if this changes in the Senate? Can we tell before the general vote in order to contact our Senators?

It’s amazing how the government, especially a sneaky administration can use such a provision to their advantage when normal Americans folks would be essentially in the dark. So proud of those civic minded folks giving the rep a hard line of questioning.

My favorite line was “ in the meantime “ leverage!
