One big problem is that Trump wouldn't know righteousness if it came up to him, introduced itself multiple times and whacked him on the head with the Epstein files 😅

An insightful, thoughtful overview of TR and how he truly earned his Nobel Prize. Trump won't learn anything from this great president, but I learned a lot reading this post. Thank you.

Gabe, TR was a well educated as well as clever person. Trump is hardly educated and his cleverness is grounded in vindictiveness. Really no comparison.

You lost me at "What Donald Trump Could Learn." He famously does not learn. Has no curiosity. Believes he knows everything. It is our national curse.

Meaningless as he is begging for unmerited accolades and forfeiting his soul too.

Great article again, Gabe!! I have countless times compared Trump to Roosevelt over the past 10 years because they are both bullies, albeit Roosevelt was obviously a lot smarter and not a waste of human space like the T-man. But yeah, Teddy Roosevelt was quite the a-hole back then (before and during and after his presidency), and Trump seems to be repeating that bit in spades. Their similarities continue to shine. Thanks again!! Keep the great writing coming!

Absolutely zero chance that t*** will “ground himself in the minutiae of the process.” Too much like work, not enough focus on ME ME ME ME ME.

Gabe, as John McEnroe was famously quoted “ you cannot be serious”. It’s a great article for a curious student who loves politics.

Re TR getting the Nobel, one could also note that 1) Japan knew that time was not on their side and that they'd need a negotiated settlement; and 2) early on, they'd worked the connections that two of their top diplomats [Kaneko Kentarō 金子 堅太郎 (College, class of 1878) and Komura Jutarō 小村 壽太郎 (Law School, 1878)] already had with their Harvard classmate, class of 1880.

ALOHA.... .G.O.P. guardians of pedophilics...“Silence and fear is the tool of a tyrant, wielded to suppress independent thought. Instead of silence and fear, let this moment fuel the fire that already burns at the heart of this place. A fire of righteous indignation at abuses of power. WELA KA HAO.... GOP LAPUWALE....

The TDS on this site is unbelievable. This week we rooted for more crime in DC. Today, more war. All with the backdrop of the daily droppings of the Russiagate debacle. Buy popcorn.
