Great analysis, thank you! Incredible that Repubs aren't getting the meal they ordered but still insist on still eating every meal there....

Trump voters think he lost his focus? Many voters think he has lost his mind.....

Really helpful. I've been wondering about this a lot lately, so thank you.

I hope you will find and tell us analysis about Democrats. 75 million people voted for Harris. I understand those who voted against Trump but what segment voted for her (or Biden for that matter) for positive reasons and what was their generational distribution.

I think Trump sees disarming Iran as his legacy. He was never focused on conservative thought or the Republican party.

We'll be studying the Left later this year/early next year in a similar study!

I’m 80, relying on old methods, old sources. Where would I be without your research and summaries? In the dark about how my world is functioning!

You and me both. So much is generational. My father had to quit school at 12 years old to help support the family. His world (and mine to a large extent) is unrecognizable to my grandchildren.

Loved your analysis here, Gabe. My favorite part came toward the end, when you got into the generational divide among Trump’s voters and how Gen Z’s conservatism differs from that of older Republicans. Not a thread many people are pulling on, so it really caught my attention. Job well done for taking your reporting five steps ahead of others!

A fine analysis, Gabe. I love how detailed, granular, into the weeds, several sharp, perceptive, and astute sub stackers analyze trump - they break down intricate details of trump's supporters into subgroups, categorizing their subtle and distinct layers.

Regardless, the underlying bottom line is this: trump FOOLED his supporters. Read my lips again: trump FOOLED ALL his supporters. Whether it's this or that, that nuance, or this, trump wasn't playing 3D chess, he was simply LYING. He lied to each and every group that FOUND & CONTORTED & rationalized one way or the other FOR trump.

That's all that trump knows: HOW to FOOL people. The ONLY thing that matters to trump is to get people to vote for him, his bottom line is: $$$$$, power, TO STAY OUT OF PRISON, grandiosity, macho manliness, all the characteristics that disguise & fuel his delusions. He's the biggest conman, lying grifter of all time.

Totally agree. When the history of this era is written (assuming humans are actually going to be around to write history in the future) it’s going to be most interesting. But, aside from Trump being history, what I am most looking forward to (and I hope to live long enough to see it) is the opera “Trump”. Delicious.

Thank you, yes, I'm willing to bet when that obit hits the news, it'll be the biggest celebration in the history of the world, bigger than VE-, or VJ-Day! Then folks will really know the extent of the depth of his depravity, and how he's profoundly loathed all over the world, not just in America.

More in Common left off a question that could have strongly influenced the results of the survey, particularly the strongly MAGA group: “What do you think the word “existential” means?”

a period where the United States had a moral leadership role…aww. That’s soooo american

We anti-woke liberals are also a large group and that's where the center of the combined general electorate may actually be.

Wonderful analysis. DJT’s focus has always been on himself.
