I have found myself going down the D line exclusively - primarily due to the spineless R congress and the crazed president they support. I'll start being more conscious and selective as our politics become more civil. (and "he" fades)
I think I've split my vote every election year. If not every year, then almost every year. If someone in my party goes beyond where I'm comfortable with and the opposing candidate isn't worse, I'll vote for the opposition.

"Vote the man/woman, not the party" is the stance of fools and benefits only Republicans.
