If the executive branch does not comply with a court order from a federal judge then what recourse does a court have, if any, to force the executive to comply?
The House passed the SAVE Act, which would require people who register to vote to show a passport or birth certificate. This would clearly lower the pool of potential voters among a number of ethnic and marginalized demographics. I thought voter and election rules were established by states, not the Federal Government. What am I missing,
