Hey all,
I’m thinking of experimenting with a weekly mailbag feature to go along with the Sunday recommendations post.
So click the comment button on this post and feel free to leave me a question: about last night’s presidential speech, the Democratic response, Trump and the courts, or anything else you might be wondering about in the worlds of politics and government! Nothing’s off-limits. (I’ll even answer a question or two about Wake Up To Politics if that’s what you’re curious about.)
As always, my goal is for WUTP to be as helpful to you as possible — which can sometimes just mean asking you directly what you’re interested in. In my opinion, one of the strengths of independent media over legacy media is that kind of one-on-one communication between writer and reader. And I want each newsletter to be worthy of your time, which is why I’m trying out a new mailbag feature for the Sunday newsletters — as always, feel free to share your feedback if you like it or you don’t.
Fire away in the comments section! Talk to you tomorrow.

Do you think the Republicans in Congress have a red line anymore, and if so, what do you think it is? In other words, at what point would they ever push back against Trump? My wife still thinks there is a red line, but I say that ever since January 6th, what could it possibly be?
Your reporting is getting stronger and stronger. You are one of the only journalists I can tolerate reading these days. Please keep up the thoughtful, unbiased reporting
