An eye-opener to me that millionaires could receive unemployment compensation. Glad that was struck.

Thanks for the recap, Gabe! Are you able to contextualize for us (or point me to the sources where I could research for myself) how many rural healthcare centers there are that would be seeking help from the Rural Transformation fund? $10 B sounds like a lot of money, unless it is being shared across several hundred facilities. Thanks!

Thanks for this great piece! Clarifying that the Rural Transformation Fund in the OBBBA has an allocation of$10 BILLION a year annually from 2026-2030 not $10 million for an overall total of $50 billion. THANK YOU!

Boy this is a slog, Gabe. You are doing a great service to us all by this detailed review. It must be like the term paper from Hell. I will upgrade mu paid subscription for sure.

Some good things, some very questionable things, but that is unfortunately the history of reconciliation. It really doesn't reconcile the two parties at all.

"This is another case of the OBBBA imposing a moratorium against implementing a Biden-era regulation through September 30, 2024."

You mean September 30, 2034. It is important to proofread and get dates right.

And people accuse me of being the grammar police! I think Gabe should be allowed the occasional typo, especially in these long posts that are lining out some very complicated issues for us. And no one reading that would assume it wasn't a typo.
