Gabe, these summaries are superb. Clear, concise, easy to read, and understandable explanations. Just fantastic work. More than worth whatever it is I’m paying each month for a subscription. But I’m also happy to keep paying that amount and not more!!!
Thank you for all the research and hard work you put into writing your newsletters.
I just wish the content wasn’t so completely depressing. Our beautiful planet deserves so much more respect than it gets from this administration. Shame on the people who voted for this.
What you have written provides a lot clearer picture of the “bill” and how it all works than what the average person will ever know from the “five o’clock news “
This is so helpful! Instead of people screaming about 1-2 issues, we can actually see what's happening (or not happening) in plain language. I appreciate this so much.
Gabe, you are a treasure. What a great idea…nothing but the facts. It is illuminating to say the least. I will plug you on my Substack that has about 3 readers. But what the heck. It takes a village!!
I thing I like most is the encouragement to “be not afraid” to examine original sources. The Project 2025 document is available online. It is very readable. Pull up the sections on issues that interest you and READ. The failed bilateral border reform bill contained, for me, a poison pill (a fund for migrant legal representation) which I never saw discussed. If you are concerned about immigration, I can think of nothing better than the 1997 report by Barbara Jordan, available, readable and still relevant.
This type of analysis used to be available from major news media—no more.
Font styling: Why does the “Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H.Con.Res.14” use a serif font and other law use sans serif? It looks like it may be the IRA that is using sans serif. I am curious where that choice originates and who decides.
Your facts and analysis are just right for me to absorb without eyes glazing over! Thank you.

Thank you for having the intellect and interest in providing this to us invite size pieces. You have a real gift.
I heartily agree with the previous comments !

Huge effort to put together a bunch of stuff that's painful to read. Thank you... I guess.
Such an excellent service you're providing. I love it!

That is a lot to parse through, segregate, and delineate.
Very well explained! Thanks! Nancy
