I really appreciate the attention you pay to the details. However, it feels like you do not give Harris the benefit of the doubt that her policies will be good for the country. She has been under the wing of Biden who has made America the economic envy of the world. It now time for Kamala to fly on her own and I have no doubt she will continue the momentum. In any case there is still no choice other than to vote for her. Really, I don't really care what her policies are. I trust her and know that she will do what is best for the country and the people in so far she is not a racist, fascist, hater, and is on the side of women. I have followed you since the days of writing from your bedroom in your parent's house. Keep up the good work.

Great topic and analyst, Gabe! Hmmm so I guess no one is going to promote Savings Bonds.

This ditty slaps: "Don't tax you, don't tax me, tax the fellow behind the tree!" It seems the key difference between the candidates boils down to who they tax (other countries, corporations, or ultimately individuals) and nothing to do with actually addressing root causes behind deficit spending, inflation, and wealth disparity.

Even if one of the candidates put forward a logical plan, so many voters who desire immediate gratification will vote with their feelings rather than with their logical minds. While on the surface we can say that it takes discipline to think critically, underneath that discipline is privilege. There is privilege in foregoing the now for the tomorrow... or trading some of what's mine today (paying more tax) to help others and the broader economy later (lifting everyone to a higher standard). Many people do not feel like they have this privilege to invest in the uncertain, long-term rewards that could be achieved by the Harris "opportunity economy" over the tangible, short-term reliefs promised by Trump.
