Gabe. Is there anyway to block Trump putting up his face on a banner on government buildings? Adding his name to programs (e.g., TrumpRx)? Using public money to engage in activities purely for his name being used in ridiculous ways?

How are bills like this impacted by the Trump administrations moves this week to pay troops using money that was appropriated for different functions? If the president can just move money around as he wants, does Congress have the power of the purse anymore?

How is this new masked bandit ICE getting so much funding for high tech surveillance gear? and How does this administration know that the left wing extremists are an organized terrorist group called antifa? Is there any proof that such a group even exists?

Democrats entered this summer believing they would need three seats to win the House. Now that number could well be closer to 25. Republicans can thank John Roberts for all of this. The chief justice has failed the nation, but served his party with exceptional aplomb. His service ought to be recognized.

He owns this gerrymandering apocalypse and a looming status quo of one-party minority rule set to last for a political generation. We ought to name it after him.

Copied This is WHAT MATTERS.

Important to recognize some positive achievements by at least one of the two chambers in our polarized legislature while the government is shut down. Well done bringing this to light, Gabe!

What if a majority of House members just showed up and started conducting business? Could Mike Johnson actually stop them?

Thank you for giving me a glimmer of hope that everything is not broken.

Is Congress still using Department of Defense? I thought it was changed to Department of War.

Hi Gabe. I kind of hoped you might comment on the minority opposition to the US spending more on the military than the next nine countries in the top 10 combined.

Thank you for this!

How many of the masked ICE agents now engaged in the unlawful seizure of American citizens are recipients of Presidential pardons for their participation in the January 6 invasion of the US Capitol building?

Marie Nicholson's avatar

ICE Agents are arresting thousands of "American" Citizens. South American, Central American and even some North American Citizens, but they are NOT arresting US Citizens!

A question that may or may not have any relevance to the Supreme Court case on redistricting: Louisiana voted for Trump, as a whole, nation wide he received 15-20% of the Black vote, how much of this did he receive in Louisiana and should it have any effect on the outcome of the case in point?

Have not seen this much detail on the NDAA in years, thank you.

Question, how easy is it to get a grand jury to indite someone? Seems like Trump has easily obtained an inditement against all his foes. How often does a grand jury turn down a prosecutor request?

Curious what is the mechanism for not allowing funds to be used for X?

Is it upon penalty for those who participate (who can sue on this, can Trump pardon?) or does someone normally have standing to sue the military and a court could choose to do a TRO?
