Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper just repackaged all their favorite previously debunked Bider smears. (There's a photo of him from last week riding a bike while steering with one hand, so that should re-debunk a few more of the smears.)
Before the press decided they wanted Trump back because he brought them more fear clicks, viewerships and subscriptions, they used to talk truthfully about Biden's lifelong stutter control and how its frequent failures resulted in his being known for making speech gaffes, while acknowledging that he had a first-class brain. It wasn't until early 2020 that the media, wanting to see Trump win, worked with the 2020 Sanders campaign, (itself working with Republicans at FOX and Business Insider), to call Biden's speech issues “cognitive decline” even as Biden was beating Bernie in South Carolina:
If I have one foot in yesterday and one in tomorrow I’m pissing on today
You make an excellent point about his stutter (by the way Annie Glenn had a very “bad” stutter). He has also always been prone to put a foot in his mouth
But it is time we all move on
The Democrats lost the election because they didn’t address the left behinds
Oh please, Roberts is worried about the rule of law when he is as dishonest, and incompetent as Trump. He has single handily ruined the court with his lack of leadership and moral clarity….given Trump immunity, ignored the corrupt Thomas couple ( thanks senator Danforth )
championed Citizens United that undermines our very democracy……Not to mention Dobbs ..and voting rights.
The majority of this court loves the pomp just as Trump does. Thomas favors yachts. His wife decried the results of the 2020 election, literally ignoring how disgraceful her actions were. Not to mention Alito and his disgraceful wife.
Trump is determined to make this country lily white and maybe with the help of this pathetic court they will achieve just that.
This is great. Civics for beginners. Justice Roberts talked about more civics for people. For those who aren’t nerds in this area this would be a good way to do it
I noticed you had references by the other news. Is this new or did I just miss it before. Either way it’s great
You are starting to come up on Chris on the outside. It’s time you two do a podcast together again. Maybe you two could schedule one a month
As a minority lover of the Hawaiian pizza (because I worked pizza delivery through college and a co-worker opened my eyes to the glory of pineapple, sausage and ham with provel cheese on St. Louis-style thin crust pizza), I could really relate to the analogy on nationwide injunctions. But what sense does the alternative make I ask of those like Gorsuch? Should the American Pineapple Association be required to file suit in EVERY district court in America? That would be utter chaos and completely untenable when the various rulings from 94 different district courts come in on the identical case.
“we survived until the 1960s without universal injunction” said one of the justices during oral arguments.
If one peruses the infrequently issued executive orders of the first 50 years of the country, the early presidents were not making broad and sweeping policies. The complexities of modern society and the post-WW2 era coincided with broader exercises of executive power including policymaking. This could explain the increase in nationwide injunctions.
Sen. Bernie Sanders would have defeated evil convicted-felon donOLD j. trump in the 2016 election, if the DNC had not stolen the nomination from him and given it to HRC.
Nice explanation. Envious that you will be able to attend court.

Really appreciate this explainer, pineapple pizza, bipartisan examples and all!

How does someone obtain birth certificate as adult if not recognized where born? I understand oversimplying the question.

Thank you for this so clarifying explanation of the federal judicial process. I am wiser now!
