My question concerns the bigger picture that haunts me, and nothing more so than the common day to day lying that has become acceptable. How do we make lying so unacceptable that very few would dare? In his first administration Trump could not open his mouth without lying. That seemed to take lying mainstream, and now, even when lies are pointed out and exposed, there seem to be no consequences.

Why haven’t we heard more about the fact that some of the Venezuelan alleged gang members were not in fact part of a gang?

How come Musk is allowed to do what he’s doing? Why can’t he be stopped? What he’s doing is against Congresses will, isn’t it? He’s breaking the law and doing incredible damage…and getting away with it.

Is dropping the 25% tariff on imported cars the classic Trump ‘Look over here, not at the National Security Signal nightmare’ move?

Interested to know how much DOGE actually, factually, has cut in federal spending?

I heard that DOGE has documented 0.12% of the cuts they have claimed.

What do you think this administration's long term goal is?

They're causing chaos for a reason.

Is it to force interest rates down again?

Take over the Americas by force by 2100?

How big a deal is Signal Gate? What are possible consequence or ramifications? What’s its effect from a political perspective (whether for Democrats, Trump, or the Public)?

You write as if we will continue to have free and fair elections. Many people are saying otherwise. Do you believe we will, and if so, why?

It seems like the parties on the infamous Signal chat were too lazy to even identify who JG was. Would they have taken the subject more seriously if they were having an actual conversation? Using emojis somehow doesn’t convey deep thinking.

Would Stephen Miller have less clout in a situation where he was speaking rather than texting?

Would Vance have been less critical of POTUS had he been having an audio conversation?

Do government officials and cabinet secretaries ever have old-fashioned conference calls? I mean audio only by speakerphone, but I suppose a secure Zoom call could work, too. Would it be more secure than a Signal chat? I know the president at least used to have a secure landline that scrambled the audio to avoid detection.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, JFK told the assembled something like “gentlemen, today you earn your pay.” Would WW3 have been averted in 1962 if he’d been instead sending telegrams from Hyannis?

I’m surprised this administration even uses the term POTUS as it sounds so Clintonian.

Has anyone called this Houthigate yet? Were the airstrikes even effective? Would we have won WW2 if we’d relied solely on bombing?

On the other hand, if Trump had been in a Signal chat with Zelenskyy in 2019, would screen shots of the exchange make it look more like a quid pro quo, convincing more Senators to convict?

Feel free to answer any or none of these queries, Gabe! You’re an inspiration.

Hi Gabe,

I am 75, and 2/3rds of my income is social security. My daughter is on medicaid health ins. Are there any checks and balances on the power Musk has to suggest these cuts? Or on those making the cuts?

QUESTION: Why, if Trump seems to thrive on rude outrageous claims (some no doubt basically true) why is there no room for a liberal blunt guy, willing to reveal things the Dem leaders would prefer stay hidden? Fetterman, maybe?

My nagging question is regarding a senate bill that Democrats stopped from passing on March 4. The vote was along party lines, 51-45, except this wasn’t a full senate. Can you explain that of all the bills that Democrats whine they couldn’t stop because they’re so little and weak, look mommy, no hands, this one they actually made an effort and pretended to be alive? Of course, this bill was about blocking a ban on trans women to participate in girls’ sports.

What other bills did they thwart, if any? And why were they able to do it with this one?

Thanks.
