I’ll likely read the transcript also. So I can revisit some of the questions & comments. I hate to admit the eye opener this broadcast was And I wonder the reactions would be of ordinary citizens in the Middle East. How aware or little aware we are of each other.
Thanks for the book recommendation and the podcast. I finished the book a few days ago and just listened to your interview with the author, and I’ve learned a lot. I appreciated his frank and acerbic observations.
I apologize for not editing my comments above. In case they were not clear, what I was requesting is to be able to interact with a thoughtful person who has different views on Israel than I do. Would you consider doing that? I have just completed a A book entitled “Israel, the demonization of an ethical country“ would you be willing to look at that book if I sent it to you. my name is Arthur Hartz. I found out about you from my wife, Ellen Hartz, who subscribed to your Substack this morning.
I am a Thai Ben-Shahar‘s grandfather. I didn’t know anything about you before today except that you were mentor in grade school. I learned that from your father who conducted funeral services for my mother a few months ago. I have written a book about Israel that I’m sure, the CRC congregation will hate. For years, I have been trying to understand the reasons for the liberal criticisms of Israel, especially since I consider myself extremely liberal. I have not been able to find anyone who won with me on this. If I sent you a file on my book, would you be willing to look at it and Make whatever comments you like?
That book sounds like a must read! Thanks! Looking forward to hearing more.
I hope you like it!
