Is the Trump administration in violation of the Epstein Transparency Act? I've heard that they've missed multiple deadlines but everyone seems to have just moved on to the next news cycles.

Hi Gabe — How can we hold social media accountable for swinging elections and sound the alarm to big investors who would care about this?? I have to log on once a week for work and I log off each week completely stunned at the false claims distorting people’s perceptions of tragedy’s that are unfolding almost daily… It’s impossible to even have a conversation because these people have a completely alternate understanding of reality based on false claims and images going around social media. I can’t help but feel like no matter how hard we fight in the midterms… it will be close enough that lies on the internet will decide our elections… what do you think? Am I wrong? Or is there anything we can do about this? Thank you!!!

Who can make ICE accountable for their lawless behavior?

Your SCOTUS coverage is the best around. You answer questions I wouldn’t know to ask. Keep it up. With Trump’s tenuous grasp of issues evident at every public presentation and as it appears he will blow up NATO over Greenland, do you think there is any chance someone like Rubio, Thune or others might finally balk? Enjoy your coverage.

Could you give us an explanation of what would happen if Trump were too enforce the insurrection act?

He's threatening it, so that's a good topic for sure. At some point, the Supreme Court needs to declare that a President cannot claim something is a national emergency just by saying the words. There has to be a brake on that process. The Constitution presumes a President in good faith, and the Supreme Court should insist on it. Otherwise, there are no checks and balances.

Does sending an email to the President through the government website do any good. I am not on social media.

What specific guidance is there in court cases surrounding what constitutes peaceable protest? I am specifically thinking on the restrictions articulated when those protesting the war gathered at funerals of the fallen and parameters drawn around protest at abortion clinics.

I could use some clarification on the final section of your piece on the trans sports cases. I read your final line as though you take an issue with chanting "we're here, we're queer!" Is my reading correct? If so, why? Why is a group of oppressed people - whose rights are being debated in front of them, and in the face of people opposed to them as people - embracing and affirming their identities, problematic?

Gabe, Trump’s threats against Iran are incredibly worrisome. I’m wondering how he can possibly be threatening military action against the Iranian regime if they “shot” (sic) their protesters when his masked goons just did the same here in the good ol’ USofA? How is this even on his radar?!

Great article on the transgender in sports argument at the Supreme Court. Thanks!

My question is looking forward to the future. You talked about Trump not having a doctrine and that will mean things he does won’t last. I agree to a great extent, but how long do you think it will take for the US to recover internally and internationally from the actions being taken now.

Examples …

Internationally- Venezuela, Greenland, NATO, Iran and flip flop diplomacy with Ukraine and others.

Internally-

CDC changes, significant cuts to critical research, social, and government programs, assaults on the constitution, human rights and the rule of law?

Thanks!

Is there evidence that rank-and-file Democrats are moving more toward the center? Or that Republican voters are moving away from supporting Trump? There definitely seems to be some grumbling among Republican lawmakers but my MAGA friends are still very happy with the president, even over Venezuela.

How true are these two all-time-favorite Republican talking points?

1. The Mainstream Media is biased to the left (yes, may they Rest in Peace)

2. Biden followed an “Open-Borders” immigration policy (I THOUGHT that all he did was accept all credible asylum claims, allowing the petitioners to enter the country till their hearing, which is EXACTLY what the law dictates)

Is there any way to keep Trump from blowing up NATO?

Question? You are teaching me how to ask better, more complete questions. Deep value, thank you.

Appreciate you breaking down the transgenders in sports case. I'd like to switch the topic to transgenders in the military. Is anyone trying to fight that issue in the courts? Can it be litigated in the courts? Is there any reason to believe the outcome would be any different than the as-yet-unknown outcome of the trans sports case?
