First world countries are now more likely to elect center left or more liberal candidates. All they have to say is, “ We don’t want to end up like the U.S. with Donald Trump,” and that should likely guarantee a win for the left.
We have elected an ignoramus who doesn’t know as much about the US government and constitution as the average 7th grader learned in Civics class. Why is this OK?
Mike Pence stood up for the Constitution against his party and the President. He performed his duty — and was ostracized by the Republican Party for it. I don’t agree with Pence on a lot of things, but yes, he absolutely showed courage on January 6th. He was a man of principle and integrity that day.
I respectfully disagree. He called Dan Quayle trying to find a way out saying “ you have no idea the position I am in” and finally realized he simply could not do anything else because Quayle told him so. He would not appear before the special committee to testify against Trump and for four years went along with every lie, every pathetic policy change and would literally praise Trump around the table exactly like the cabinet today, full of political hacks. Read about his early days in politics and find out just how he hypocritical he was, especially with all his Christian dogma he likes to share so openly.
And as far as republicans and the base turning on him. You dance with the devil you will get burned. .

Trump needs to swear to his oath of office again.

Mike Pence is not a profile in courage. I suppose they are scraping the barrel.
