Don’t read too much into the nomination of Chavez-DeRemer for Labor. The Secretary of Labor actually has very little to do with labor unions. The role is more about wage laws, pensions, etc. The key agency for purposes of labor unions is the National Labor Relations Board (whose very existence is now being challenged in court on constitutional grounds).
No mention of the transactional tendencies of these nominees? No mention of their past, present, or future attempts to grift off the taxpayers for themselves or Trump?
Certainly, there will be significant GOP opposition to Chavez-DeRemer's confirmation. For example, you cannot expect Senator Ron Paul, the prime sponsor of the National Right to Work Act, or many Republican Senators from the 26 states that have state Right to Work laws and/or limit or prohibit public sector monopoly bargaining, to vote for her. Although the Secretary of Labor does not directly deal with the rights of employees to refrain from union membership and financial support, there are many ways in which the Department of Labor can, and has under Biden, assisted unions in organizing employees into union monopoly collectives. One would hope that a Trump Administration would not reward the many unions which opposed his reelection despite the contrary views of the employees they purport to represent.
I don't care who's a "Russian Asset" now. That phrase has no more meaning to me anymore just like the words fascist, racist, nazi, and bigot. https://shorturl.at/I13US

What does it cost to be a cabinet member? How much did each of these folks donate to Trump's campaign or related PACs?

Hi Gabe, now you're talking... think we have to focus on the impending disaster, as Trump literally has no accomplishments (in my opinion).
Really enjoy your take in this post. Thank you.
